20 community leaders from Lanao Sur attend dispute resolution training

A four-day training on Alternative Dispute Resolution for 20 participants from community-based partners of Maranao People’s Development Center (Maradeca Inc). and UNYPAD-Ranao cluster was conducted on October 27-31, 2018 at Minkay Midway, Initao, Misamis Oriental. The resource persons were Rachel Aquino, Luz Divina C. Anung, and Alim Ibrahim A. Bagumbun. Health, sanitation facilities constructed for 1,713 displaced families

Health and sanitation facilities were constructed for the utilization of 1,713 displaced families (or 12,066 persons) following the Marawi Siege in 2017. Constructed were thirty (30) cubicles of latrines, 20 units of washing facilities, 21 cubicles of bathing facilities, and 1 unit water pump was installed.   These WASH facilities are part of the emergency response of Maradeca Inc. in partnership with Plan International for IDPs who either opted to build their transitory shelters or are staying in relatives homes in the communities of Poonamarantao Ragayan, Tacub Pindolonan, Nataron Bacayawan at Marantao town; in Pantar, Radapan Poblacion, Radapan Proper of Piagapo municipality; and for the evacuation centers in…
