People’s organizations pursue social enterprise; crafted business plans

To advance community-based enterprise development management for internally displaced persons (IDPs), a number of seminar and conference were organized to sharpen Maranao skills in enterprise development and business management. This is part of an integrated approach as recovery program for displaced constituents of Marawi and which encouraged innovation or creativity among civil society to help capacitate and foster collaboration with various stakeholders on social enterprise development for resiliency and social cohesion. IDPs host culmination program after completing educational, psychosocial interventions

Internally displaced children and women who underwent series of alternative educational and psychosocial interventions through Women Friendly Space (WFS) and Children Friendly Spaces (CFS) had their culmination program at the municipal gymnasium of Ditsa-an Ramain, Lanao del Sur.  This program recognized the constructive contributions and lessons learnt from psychosocial interventions provided by stakeholders themselves to improve the mental and emotional conditions of children and adult-beneficiaries from traumatic violent conflict which totally devastated 24 barangays of Marawi city.  They received their respective certificate of completion of alternative education and psychosocial sessions with some humanitarian assistance from Maradeca Inc. and its international‚Ķ
