Psychosocial sessions for children in evacuation centers are conducted by Save the Children and with partners in established child-friendly spaces in Lanao del Sur as part of the humanitarian mission for child rights protection. Maradeca Inc. partners with Sun Life to help provide relief goods for internally displaced communities from Marawi who are temporarily settled in various municipalities in Lanao del Sur. Food packs were distributed to 1,366 families which contain items enough for two weeks of consumption. The Maranao People Development Center (Maradeca) Inc. and the Caritas Australia sent volumes of food and non-food assistance to more than 700 internally displaced persons in the armed conflict in the Lanao del Sur municipality of Butig.
