An assessment was conducted for early young learners in two barangays in Bubong municipality to measure their progress in reading, comprehension, and cognitive retention of transmitted knowledge.
The assessment, done through tests and creative arts, intended to gather empirical developments of the child’s cognitive, language, social-emotional, and approaches to learning. It also helps identify children who may need additional support and likewise help educators plan her instruction to ensure that no one is left behind in the learning process.
It will also provide a common ground among educators and parents to collaborate on strategies to support their child’s learning pace.
The test was inclusive of English alphabet, numerical, and arts.
The assessment in barangay Diolangan was attended by 22 learners, 5 parents, and the facilitators. In barangay Salipongan, 14 learners, 5 parents, and the facilitator were present.
