Maradeca & Education for Marginalized Children

MARADECA believes that “education” is the primary factor in advancing the socio-economic development of the Bangsamoro people in their quest for ultimate peace and development.

In partnership with Education Pathways to Peace in Mindanao, MARADECA implemented the project entitled Increase Access of Marginalized Children to Kto3 Education through Community Support (I-ACCESS to Kindergarten Education) in two (2) barangays of Madalum and Tugaya, Lanao del Sur. A total of 150 learners were organized with 8 trained learning facilitators. Alternative Delivery Model (ADM) system of MBHTE was adapted for this project.

On November 24, 2022, Pathways team leader Ms. Caroline Vandenabeele and staff visited one of the learning center in Barangay Gadongan, Madalum Lanao del Sur. The purpose of the visit is to observe the learning center and have brief interactions with the children, their parents, religious/traditional leaders, as well as local government leaders. The provincial SK President Jamil Faisal S. Adiong, also present in the activity.
